Our anticipation builds! Bloging is new to me, yet it brings us closer to our loved ones when they are so far away, so I am giving it a shot. Dad and I love you both and little Judah, so much. We feel like we have already met him. We hope that #44 continues to inspire you. We are ready for the latest adventure. We promise to Judah, all the love the world can bring, and he will forever be of both worlds, his nation of birth and HOME here. MUCH LOVE and KISSES: the other Grandma and Grandpa.
You don't know me but I have been reading your blog with excitement because my husband and I are adopting a baby from Ethiopia via CHI as well. I really appreciate your candor and enthusiasm.
My husband and I have just Friday received a referral, for a little girl who is at the Thomas Center. I know that you both must be in a whirlwind during this amazing and beautiful time in your life, and I cannot imagine you will even read this comment never mind have the time or energy to do us a favor, but if there is any way you might be able to take a look and maybe take a picture and definitely give her a hug, we would be so, so appreciative. Her name is Mekdelawit, and she is 4 months old.
If you get this or if you are able to see her at the Thomas Center, you could reach us via email at wildmile@hotmail.com. Thank you so much!
PS: The bakery La Notre is the best in town! It is across the street to the south of the Hilton. It also has the best espresso and orange juice in town.
